If I didn't have to wonder what time I was going to get in a workout or if the sand pit is going to entertain my daughter during my entire workout, I wouldn't run.

If I didn't have to train teenagers before I got my workout in or rush a workout before they get to the track, I wouldn't run.

If I didn't have to beg to get into meets or loose out on lanes to people who I am faster than, I wouldn't run. 

If I didn't have to run around walkers on the track or avoid being hit by strollers, I wouldn't run.

If I didn't have to work extra hard in order to chase down girls 5-10 years younger or take extra days off to recover, I wouldn't run.
